Before installing this pump, you must replace the low pressure intake hose to it from the reservoir (very short hose). This hose turns hard and cracks underneath and can only be inspected by taking it off. A crack in the hose causes air suction, foam and overflow of fluid in reservoir. After replacing hose and pump the system must be bled of air using special bleeding procedure unlike most cars or else noise will occur and pump will fail. See hose # 8E0422887D.
