Notes: Receiver Drier replacement is mandatory as a condition for warranty acceptance. The compressor has an undesignated amount of oil in it during assembly and must be drained and the proper amount of specific ND8 oil replaced during installation. If the compressor has seized the condenser will also have to be replaced or debris will cause new compressor to fail and is not covered in that event. This compressor requires ND8 oil. Warning! This variable displacement compressor has a special oil filling procedure that is different than the industry normal process. If oil is not added in the correct way the valve will probably fail and there is no warranty in this situation. Check vehicle manufacturer specific oil filling instructions before starting.
